Scrip

Please read the following for a summary of the St. Isidore Scrip program for the 2007-2008 school year. Please keep this information for reference throughout the school year.

School Commitment
Scrip is a vital and important part of our school budget. Approximately every $25,000 of scrip profit helps keep tuition costs down 1%. The profit goal for the 2007-2008 school year remains at $80,000. This goal is achievable if all school families participate in both electronic and paper scrip.

Family Commitment

We all buy groceries, clothing, prescriptions, gifts, etc. By using scrip, you can make a contribution to St. Isidore School at no additional cost. If every school family continues to support escrip (primarily Safeway) and buys a minimum of $250 of paper scrip per month, we will meet our $80,000 goal. Reaching this monthly $250 commitment can be done by buying paper scrip for vendors such as: grocery stores (Safeway, Lunardi's), gas purchases (Chevron, Shell, Arco), Home Depot, Longs, Chamois Car Wash, Starbucks/Peets, dining (California Pizza Kitchen, Chili's, P.F. Changs, Cheesecake Factory, etc.), gift purchases (Macy’s, Gap, etc.), and entertainment (Cinemark, Regal, Blockbuster, etc.).

The school makes the largest amount of profit on paper scrip, from 1.5% to as much as 20%. Since the profit to the school on electronic scrip is generally in the 1% to 3% range, the only way to maximize the program and keep tuition costs down is through the sale of paper scrip. Paper scrip is sold weekly through the family envelope.

Although we try to keep our inventory well-stocked, we appreciate one weeks advance notice of any large orders. Some families have supported our scrip program through purchases made for employee bonuses or client gifts (ie. holidays). To place a large order for either business or personal use, please call Leslie Rocha (831-8217).

EScrip
eScrip

Escrip is a program in which participating businesses rebate a percentage of purchases to a designated school. Although Safeway is the most widely known, there are many others including Macy's, Big 5, Bagel Street Cafe, and Sponges Car Wash. In order for St. Isidore School to receive the rebates, you must register your cards annually. These cards include your Safeway Club Card, Macy's, debit and credit cards. When you make a purchase at a participating merchant and use a registered card, the school automatically receives a percentage of your purchase. Grandparents, friends, etc. can also register their cards and select St. Isidore as their selected school. It is now a requirement for all school families to register their Safeway Club Cards. This can be done three ways:
1) on-line at www.escrip.com,
2) by telephone at 800-592-0942, or
3) download a form from escrip.com and send it into the Scrip Office via the family envelope.
The St. Isidore School ID number is 136952750.

Like to shop online?  Escrip Online Mall represents hundreds of name brand merchants.  Go to Escrip.com, log in, click  Escrip Online Mall, and click Sign Up.  St. Isidore receives up to 10% on purchases.
