Welcome to Seventh Grade

A Little Bit About Us:
May - June

Movin on up to 8th! It's almost time to say our good byes. I find this very difficult and want to express to all you parents how much I have enjoyed my last two years with your children. I will truly miss them!

We will be completing the math book this year. We have skipped a few lessons, but have focused on the concepts they will need for 8th grade. During the last couple weeks of school we will review the entire book to prepare the students for the Algebra placement test. Math practice workbooks (and answers) will be coming home this summer. This is an excellent opportunity for the students to keep up their math skills over the summer.

The students will wrap up the year in science studying the Human Body Systems and, of course, dissection! We are currently working on our "Doctor for a Day" project that includes a presentation by the students, with a variety of media; posters, powerpoints, skits, etc. It is an educational and fun way to learn!

Please check the Seventh Grade News for important dates. Homework is updated daily for your reference.

We wish you and your family a very relaxing and safe summer vacation. Thank you for all your support and sharing your kids with us this year!
