At St. Isidore School, we believe we are truly at our best when helping those in need. Recently, our seventh- and eighth-grade students partnered with Kairos Torch Ministry, a Christian group that positively mentors incarcerated young men, aged 16–20, in the Bay Area, on a project for their upcoming retreat. The goal of the project was to inspire the young men to put their faith in God.
St. Isidore students adorned strips of paper with messages of love, compassion, and encouragement. The heartfelt messages of positivity will be made into colorful chains and presented to the young men at the retreat. The students truly hope to make a difference in their lives.
