Wellness and Belonging
At St. Isidore School, we believe in nurturing the whole child, and fostering an environment where wellness and belonging intertwine. Rooted in faith, our commitment to the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellness of our students creates a strong foundation.
We believe that supporting a healthy school community is essential for supporting the growth and development of the whole child.
The School Counselor is available to students, providing individual or small group counseling sessions to address a range of issues such as friendship dynamics, classroom behavior concerns, academic challenges, and other common developmental issues for children and teens. Our counselor works collaboratively with teachers, parents, and administrators to create a positive action plan for students.
We have a 3/4 time Registered Nurse on staff to support student's basic health needs throughout the school day.
Students have Physical Education classes two times and a week. Additionally, students in TK- 1st grade have Motor Development classes.
